TriMet has announced the five artists who will have $250,000 per project to work on public installations along Milwaukie's portion of the Milwaukie-Portland light rail alignment.
The five artists are among ten who were selected from more than 270 applicants in the agency's nationwide artist search. The Milwaukie Public Art Advisory Committee, comprised of local artists and community members, helped steer the decision process, according to Michelle Traver, TriMet's public art coordinator.
